Dr. Rahman is seeking a smart, self-motivated, hardworking Ph.D. student. The student should be comfortable with programming, algorithms, and logic. Added qualities include scholarly publications, preferably in cybersecurity, IoT/CPS, and/or artificial intelligence.

- Smart, self-motivated, and TRULY hardworking
- Comfortable with programming, algorithms, and logic
- Good academic ranking in undergraduate/MS
- Research background to some extent
- GRE and TOEFL/IELTS scores satisfy the University/Department’s minimum requirements
- Preferred qualities include:
- Research background in Cybersecurity, IoT/CPS, or adversarial machine learning
- Scholarly publications
- GRE scores: Quantitative > 162, Verbal > 145, and Writing >= 3.5,
- TOEFL >= 95, IELTS >= 7
** The fulfillment of the requirements that make a Ph.D. student ready for graduation, i.e., the successful dissertation defense:
- Success in defining and solving three related research problems (on the dissertation topic)
- Two top-tier conference publications, plus success in publishing multiple papers in other reputed conferences
- One publication in a prestigious journal and multiple under revision/submission
- Elegant in technical writing
- The ability to critically reviewing papers
